Wah leg aching like siao...
Today went to Bukit Timah Hill to hike. I know some of you think its a piece of cake, but ours was different.
We took a concrete path pass the summit and then from a certain point on, trekked through the jungle. Muddy, steep, sharp rocks, heavy pack. It was feeling alright at first. Then God decided to let us enjoy more of the hike by starting a heavy downpour. That blocked out the light and the place seemed as if it was like 11pm in the night. I didn't bring my poncho (raincoat) and was stuck under the downpour with a groundsheet :( Got my entire pants wet, my shoes muddy, my socks wet, my shirt wet but my underwear is still dry :P my feet was aching like mad and water plus sweat was all over my whole body :( with it all over my face and spectacles, it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Reached a hut and rested standing for like 15minutes cus the rain was too maddening. Then Mr Xiong asked the bus driver delay:

Mr Xiong: Uncle, can you wait for us for an extra 30minutes?
Mr Xiong: No we're still climbing and we're stuck in the middle of the hill cus its raining heavily.
Mr Xiong: Oh thanks. You can go relax and drink coffee while waiting :)

Then we went back down the route but changed direction and ended up at the Summit :) Took a nice photo but my specs was too wet to wear so I just took off my specs. Then trekked back on a beautiful concrete path back to the entrance at like 6.45pm!!!

THEN I REACHED BACK HOME AT 9PM!!!! WTF!!!!!
bop to the top
